I don't know why your experience of real life is so different from mine, but I retired last year from a job in biotech in the boston area

and at that time, Every Single PhD, programmr, Engineer, and manager, without any push from the CEO , was using AI because they all found it to be a very powerful tool that saved them time

I assert that this group has a lot of smart, productive people
